A Collection of My Thoughts From Hard Times in Business in 2008

In the early/middle of 2008, I experienced some hard times with a company I helped start.  I look back and I had a wide array of emotions from frustration to anger to optimism.  I want to show these posts in order so that one can see the journey I went through.  Yes, even I have to deal with anger and frustration in situations.  The end result is that I decided to be positive and optimistic while maintaining a sense of reality.  It is ok to be angry.  It is not ok to let that anger fester.

Some people told me I should remove the posts because they have some negativity in them.  I am deciding not to because I want to show that I am human as well.  I have faults and things I need to work on just like anyone else.  With that, here is the list of posts outlining this situation:

I’m glad you decided to keep those. What happened to you was lame, unfair, and just plain wrong. You had ever right to be angry. I know that, because I was there for the last 2 months of that whole thing and saw the whole thing play out just as you described it. I believe everyone has challenges and setbacks in our lives. It’s during those times that we need to know that we are not the only ones who have those kinds of tough experiences and that others have gone through them as well without becoming bitter, miserable, and discouraged for the long term. That they have come through them OK and actually emerged better and wiser for having gone through those trials. When we have those times in our lives those are the kinds of blogs that offer comfort and hope. Thanks for sharing your experiences with us the good and the bad as part of life is learning to deal with both of them.
